Bree Salazar is the Chief Operating Officer at Valley Wound Care Specialists and brings over 20 years of experience in medical billing, physician credentialing, office management, and business development to our office. Bree and Dr. Berman have worked together since 2006 and Bree joined Valley Wound Care in 2009. She studied Healthcare Administration at the University of Phoenix and while she is not a clinician, she enjoys wound care education and is fascinated with the overall growth in wound medicine. 

Bree strives to always be at the front end of healthcare changes: new policies, procedures, trials, and products to incorporate into treatment plans that may benefit the patients at Valley Wound Care.  She is known across the country for her skin substitute reimbursement knowledge and many companies look to her for support.  Bree is also known for her smile and her clicking heels on our office floor. You can always hear when Bree is around. A staff and patient favorite, she is always willing to lend a helping hand.

Bree was born outside of Chicago, Illinois, raised in Glendale, Arizona, and resides in Litchfield Park, Arizona with her Firefighter/Paramedic husband, three children, and full house of pets.  In her free time she enjoys glamping with her family, hiking, and watching her children play sports.
